Linoleum Blockprints by Leni Fried

This linoleum block print was conceived and printed on the island of Nevis. Nevis is a small extremely friendly place just off of St. Kitts in the British west Indies. We stayed at a place in walking distance from Pinneys Beach. Even though this beach was right in town it was often completely deserted when we went down for a swim in the turquoise blue water. In the evening people would come and throw their nets in the water looking for fish as the sun sunk down and
the evening sounds emerged. The palm trees lined the shore dancing in the sand.
